Youth Ministry
“Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity” (1 Timothy 4:12)
Our Youth Ministry reaches our young people and equips them to lead and inspire the next generation of believers. We would like our young people to be an example to their friends and community by evangelising those around them and living a life of integrity and purity in this crooked and depraved generation.
As today’s youth is tomorrow’s citizen, we work closely with our children and young people to create better citizens for the kingdom of God. To achieve this goal, we have regular youth worship with scriptural doctrines dedicated to disciplining and transforming the lives of our youngsters. We also have monthly meetings where we have a wide array of talent programs like songs, group songs, Bible quizzes, memory verse recitals etc.
We have weekly kids club every Saturday and our monthly youth meetings are held on the 1st Sunday of every month. These meetings are designed to help our young people express the different talents God has given them, and to grow closer to Him. Just like the parable of the talents in Matthew 25:14–30, we see the servants that used the talents given by the Master were rewarded with more talents but the one that didn’t use his talent ended up losing it. So our desire is to guide and support our youth to contribute to the church in any ways they can.
However, TPC’s youth ministry is not just limited to teaching young people in the church to use their talents to serve the Lord but also to grow their relationship with the Lord which prepares them to serve Christ in all they do. As a result, this nurtures the congregation and helps the church to flourish.
